Fabulous food produced in an amazing environment
New Forest Produce
Commoning from Storm's Farm
The New Forest, since its creation by William the 1st in 1079, has produced some of the finest foods probably found anywhere in the world.
From its ancient woodlands of oak and beech, to the mixed grasses, herbs, heathlands and lawns, come the most incredible flavours and textures.
The Forest has been grazed by the commoners stock since 1217, dedicated people that have the right to turn out cattle, sheep, donkeys, ponies and pigs.
The landscape that is enjoyed by many visitors is the result of generations of stock grazing this special environment, lowland heath being rarer than the Amazon Rainforest.
